People Connect People (February 22, 2013) — Good news today. Not the best as if T-Mobile has pushed out 4G LTE yet, but it will be just as exciting in a sense.
Facebook has just released the latest version of their iPhone app, version 5.5, which now doubles as a way for its users to make free friend-to-friend voice calling in both U.S and Canada (I am personally not sure, but it could be available to any Facebook user in the world but we will update you when we find out).
This upgrade takes full advantage of the voice-over-ip feature which Facebook introduced to the community in 2012 through its messenger (chat) engine.
Now if you are somewhere underground without cellular signal or just can’t remember your friends’ phone number, you can look them up on their facebook app and make use of the free calling features (provided that they do have the app installed on their phone as well).
Also when you are a Solavei customer and for some reason you prefer not to use your blessing unlimited voice option, you can go ahead and call everyone on your friend list through the 4G and Unlimited Data connection or just Wifi. For free.
This is especially helpful when the quality of regular voice connection is somehow degraded due to weather condition, snow, storm or local tower outage.
Another day, another great use for Solavei $49.00 unlimited everything plan while getting paid at the same time!
